Who we are

grouparti makes group cards everyone is in. You can reach us at hello@grouparti.com; our details are under the title of this page.

What we sell

A group card: the organiser picks a design, everyone in the group adds a selfie, picks a character and writes a message, and we paint the whole group into one card. We print it, post it in an envelope and email an e-card on the day.

There are two prices, by the size of the group: one for 2–5 people and one for 6–10. Each card includes one printed card with everyone's messages inside, delivery to the UK or EU, and the e-card.

The finished card is for personal use: give it, frame it, share it with the people in it. You may not resell it or use it to promote a business.

Organisers and the group

The organiser has an account and looks after the card: who is invited, the details and dates, approving the finished card and paying for it. You can have one unpaid card at a time.

Everyone else joins from their own invite link, with no account. Anyone who hasn't chosen their likeness by the deadline is taken out of the card, with their photo, and the picture closes up around everyone else.

Photos and consent

Each person adds their own photo and agrees to it being used to paint them into the card. Only upload a photo of yourself.

The organiser can add someone's photo and message for them. By ticking the box they confirm that person agreed, and they take responsibility for it. If anyone in the card, or the person it's for, tells us they didn't agree, we withdraw the card: the e-card stops working, every picture and message is deleted, and the printed card is stopped if the printer still can. A withdrawn card isn't refunded. Never add anyone without their permission.

Our privacy notice explains who sees each photo and when we delete it.

Building and approving

We paint each likeness and the final card with an AI image model. They aim to be recognisable and flattering, then funny, but every painting is different and we can't promise a perfect likeness.

You see the front and every message before you pay, and you can ask for another version within the card's allowance. The version you approve is the one we print.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds or euros and include VAT; the total is shown at checkout. You pay once the card is built and you've seen it, in one payment for the whole group. A card you don't pay for costs nothing.

Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details. If we've made an obvious mistake in a price, we'll tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

Each card is printed to order by our print partner and posted to the address you give at checkout, in the UK or the EU. Delivery is included.

Joining closes at least a week before the e-card date to leave time to print and post the card, so pay as soon as you approve it. We can't control the post, so we can't promise a delivery day.

The e-card

If you give us the recipient's email, we send them the e-card on the date you chose. Once it is sent, everyone in the card can see the finished card from their link.

Once the card is paid, the organiser can open its wall and share the e-card link themselves, earlier than the date if they choose. Anyone with the link can then see the card and add a message, saying who they are once: people in the card confirm the email their invite went to, the recipient their name, anyone else types theirs. The organiser can delete any message and close the wall at any time.

Cancellations and refunds

Our refund policy explains what happens if the card arrives damaged or faulty.

Acceptable use

Don't upload or write anything unlawful, hateful or sexual, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or a photo of anyone who hasn't agreed. We may remove it, stop the card and close accounts that misuse grouparti.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your legal rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, our liability for a card is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay for a card is the one that applies to it.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law.
